Is it really no cost to the arena?
Yes! The board, the control system, the freight and the install are ours to pay for. The arena covers getting power and data to the wall, the wall itself if you don't already have a smooth block wall where the board goes, the annual software subscription, insurance on the equipment, and hauling away the old board. Everything on that list is in the proposal before you sign anything.
How does the sponsorship program and revenue share work?
Once your scoreboard is installed, we fully manage the sponsorship program bringing in local and national businesses to advertise on your display. You’ll have a dedicated sponsorship coordinator who works directly with your community while ensuring all content is appropriate for your audience. We handle everything from selling sponsors to managing content.
The arena earns a share of the revenue on every sponsor it refers to us, for the full life of that sponsor's contract, bringing you long-term, sustainable funding.
What about the sponsors we already have?
Standing sponsor agreements are honored through their expiration. From there, we're the only ones selling advertising on or immediately around the board. Banners elsewhere in the building, your website, your programs and your other fundraising are untouched.
Who operates the Scoreboard during games?
The arena is responsible for turning on the scoreboard during games, but there is minimal operation required. A staff member simply logs into our cloud-based system, and all ads and school content are preloaded and automatically rotate throughout the game.
We provide full training and onboarding to ensure everything runs smoothly from day one.
Can we use the scoreboard during Figure Skating, public skating, or other programs?
Yes! The scoreboard only needs to be displaying ads during scheduled games and certain events, outlined in your contract. Outside of games, it becomes a flexible digital asset for your ice arena to program however you want. You will be trained on the software and have your own log in to upload and display your own media.
